this is Coryton in Devon on the south Devon and Tavistock railway. the large vegetable garden in the middle distance is the clue

On the branch between Tavistock and Launceston and opened on 1 July 1865. Reduced to an unstaffed halt in 1959. This and other views of the site appear in G H Anthony's 'The Launceston Branch', revised by S C Jenkins, The Oakwood Press, 1997

Looks like a Deans Goods (outside frame) on the train

at a guess the loco is of GWR origin fom the safety valve cover and what appears to be a copper rim around the top of the chimney.
