Barmouth Bridge 1963

Photo of a passenger train pulled by a steam locomotive crossing Barmouth Bridge, c1963.
Barmouth Bridge is a single-track railway viaduct party made of wood. It crosses the estuary of the Afon Mawddach river near Cardigan Bay between Morfa Mawddach and Barmouth in Gwynedd, Wales.
The bridge was built by the Aberystwyth and Welsh Coast Railway and opened in 1867. Though traffic has been restricted over the years due to concerns to the strength of the structure you can still see trains cross it nowadays.
