North Walsham Railway StationPhoto of the North Walsham (Norfolk, England) railway station as it was c1952. Note the remarkable design of the (rather low?) foot bridge.
Another little question mark here as North Walsham had two stations until 1959: one with the addition Main in its name and the other Town. So which one is this? :)
Waiting at the platform is the steam locomotive 62564 heading a small passenger train. Is it me or have the passenger coaches actually got door per seating area (as in a compartment carriage)?

The locomotive is an LNER Class D16/3 4-4-0, known as a "Gresley rebuild", originating from the "Claud Hamilton" design credited to James Holdenway back in 1900. The last of the D16/3s were withdrawn in 1960. None survived into preservation.

Possibly North Walsham Town station on the Midland & Great Northern Joint line to Melton Constable, closed since 1959. North Walsham Main station is still active and current photographs show it to be on a straight track, whereas the station here was built on a curve. North Walsham Main was part of the Great Eastern Railway estate. But did D16/3s run on the M&GNJR?
