I think that's where I met my first real girlfriend, while I was stationed at RAF Locking, Weston-super-Mare! She had a Lambretta scooter, which was really something for a teenage to own back in 1961! Many times I had to take the milk train back to Weston in the early hours of the morning! Thanks for bringing back memories!

The Mecca was the place to be in Bristol in the early sixties . I dont know how many times the girlfriend and I managed to miss the last bus after a night dancing there and were faced with a very very long walk home as none of could afford cars.
