Tal-y-llyw Junction in 1953

This is Tal-y-llyw Junction, photo supposedly taken in 1953. The name used is as it came with the photo but no luck finding any information on it... my Welsh is non-existent but I guess the spelling might be wrong?

Passenger train headed by steam locomotive 46520.

Comments:
The Mid Wales Railway, Part of the Cambrian Railways, as the Llanidloes to Talyllyn Junction line was known opened to traffic from Three Cocks Junction to Talyllyn Junction on 19 September and from Llanidloes to Three Cocks on the 21st September 1864.
This photograph shows a Class 2 Ivatt 2-6-0 entering the Cambrian platform at Talyllyn Junction with a Brecon moat lane junction service.

The station at Talyllyn Junction was in fact a Brecon and Merthyr Railway Station.
The station was situated on the westerly side of a triangle of lines that radiated to Brecon from the west. Three cocks from the northerly direction and Talybont on Usk from a easterly direction.
