Bronwydd Arms Railway Station

Photo of Bronwydd Arms station, Carmarthenshire, Wales as it was in the 1950s (I've been informed).
Bronwydd is a small village and its halt was situated on the Carmarthen to Aberystwyth railway which opened in 1860 and closed again in 1965. Part of this is now the Gwili Railway, a preservation railway and home to over a dozen preserved steam and diesel locomotives.

Bronwydd Arms. A shot of the station taken in 1962 showing the signalbox by the level crossing, both of which are behind the camera in the 1950 view: see Ben Brooksbank's image on the Geograph site - www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1922497
