Wemyss Castle itself is in Fife, Scotland. This station was part of North British Railway and closed in 1955.

Comments:
Wemyss Castle. On the Fife coast route running east from Thornton Junction. The station entrance is probably facing the Firth of Forth. Further east were stations such as Pittenweem, Anstruther, Crail and St Andrews. The branch appears to have been single track with passing loops at stations such as this one

Wemyss Castle was on the line from Thornton Junction to Methil, originally built by Lord Wemyss to take coal from his pits. Later taken over by the North British Railway and closed to passengers in 1955.
