Britannia 70006 ROBERT BURNS at Glasgow St Enoch station in March 1964 at the head of the 4.45pm parcels to Carlisle.
Originally one of the Great Eastern batch she like most of the others were pushed North with dieselisation and ended their days at Carlisle's Kingmoor shed.

Yes, she was one of the lucky ones as the plates were being progressively removed.
