I am certain that this is the 'speeltoren' of Monnickendam, 7 kilometers of Volendam. The rails are those of the steam-tram that ran Amsterdam - Broek in waterland - Monnickendam - Edam to finally to Volendam. This tram line was discontinued in 1956, by then it was an electric tram.

If I had been more observant, I would have realized that the tower in the background is not the same one in the Alkmaar images. I'm certain Piet is correct.
