Comments:
The building in the center is the 'Accijnstoren' (rougly translates as 'Tax Tower') located at the Bierkade. It was built in 1622 for the dutch Customs and Excise to levy import duties.
A remarkable note: the building was moved for about 4 metres in 1924 to make it possible to widen the Bierkade.
