Cruise liner Cunard Scythia
Time Capsules
Cruise liner Cunard Scythia

A great photo of the Cunard Scythia offloading what seems to be grain. Although she originally was build as a Cruise Liner it was not abnormal for cruise ships to also carry cargo.
Although the date is an estimate it is clear that this photo is taken long before she was commandered to serve as a troop-ship in WWII.
Can somebody identify this particular harbour?

I came home from Rangoon in 1948 on this troopship. Thanks for the memory.
