Thompson Class B1 4-6-0 61041 leaving Lincoln

With the Foss Dyke in the foreground, 61041 picks up speed entering the long straight due west of Lincoln with a passenger train, having negotiated the marshalling yard at Holmes Yard. I was 13 when I took this photograph, probably with a little plastic Kodak camera.
