Time Capsules - Old Photographs from the past

700(Z) Squadron, Fleet Air Arm
Time Capsules
700(Z) Squadron, Fleet Air Arm

My late father, RAF Sgt CFW Langsdale (563828, airframe rigger) at this time, was attached to the Fleet Air Arm and served on HMS Eagle in the China station before the war. At some stage he was with this squadron, possibly at RNAS Hatston (HMS Sparrowhawk) in Orkney.
The back of the photo has a note "700 (Z) Squadron December 1942 to April 1943" which may have been the time he was there. He is in RAF uniform but no hat, standing in front of the starboard bow of the Supermarine Walrus - the censor has scratched out the aircraft identification.
Comments on this photograph would be greatly appreciated. I can provide a very high resolution copy to anyone who may be on the picture or has a relative on it.
