Shaw and Crompton railway station

Photo of the Shaw and Crompton railway station with the gates open for road traffic. Shaw and Crompton is within the Greater Manchester Area, England.
It was built in 1863 to serve the cotton mills, it has survived the closures. Mainly used for commuting to Manchester.

Plans are to turn the line into part of the Manchester Metrolink in the near future.
