Keynsham & Somerdale Railway StationPhoto of the Keynsham and Somerdale train station, taken in 1932.
It serves the town of Keynsham in Bath, North East Somerset (England). This station was openened in 1840 and sits on the London-Bristol and Bristol-Southampton trunk routes.
Originally it was just named Keynsham, but Somerdale was added to it due to the opening of the Fry's chocolate factory at Somerdale in 1925. The buildings were re-built in 1931 to be able to deal with an increase of passengers, the workforce of the factory...
The two platform station still exists but is nowadays known as Keynsham again. In 1985 a rebuilt took place again, and I suppose it will all look very different from the pic above now :)
