Westfield railway station 1958

Photo taken in 1958 of Westfield railway station.
Not much information available on the web on this station. I've only been able to find one reference to it stating that it was situated on the Blackston to Bathgate line. Not known when it opened but it closed for passengers in 1930 and for freight in 1967.

Comments:
Part of the North British Railway system before the 1923 Grouping. To the South West of Westfield a number of spurs once ran off this and other lines, presumably to collieries. My railway atlas prefers the spelling Blackstone
