Acklington railway station in 1950s

Acklington train station in Northumberland, England. It is situated on the East Coast Main Line, though serves currently only as a local stop. The two platform station of Acklington is currently managed by Northern Rail.
The station building as you can see on this photo hasn't changed much and is still in use.
