Fen Ditton Halt c1950s

Photo of the Fen Ditton Halt (Cambridgeshire, England). I suppose that trains only stopped here when passengers wanted them too :)
Any more info, much appreciated....

Comments:
Fen Ditton was one of the halts on the branch line from Cambridge to Mildenhall. The route was one of the last haunts of the E4 class 2-4-0's. Trains were worked by conductor guards and you told him if you were for any of the halts like wise you could stop the train by hand signal to the the driver as they all approached with caution in case. This was a lovely line and I have tha station lamp from Quy which has travelled round the country with me since the line closed. It has the name etched into the the glass. Fen Ditton was betweel Barnwell Junction and Quy.
